A man who was sitting in a courthouse in Miami-Dade County, Florida, waiting to hear the judgment on the aggravated robbery charges brought against him allegedly made an effort to seriously hurt himself.
His family claims that he consumed a cup of bleach, although it is unclear how he was able to get his hands on the substance in the first place.
Jermaine Bell has recently been handed a guilty verdict for his role in an armed robbery.
Bell has been battling the allegations for almost three years while he is incarcerated at this point.
He started feeling i’ll almost immediately after he drank it, to the point that he needed to be carried out of the courthouse on a stretcher and transported to the hospital.

Reaction Of Family Members
Even though Bell was able to pull through this ordeal, there are still a lot of unanswered concerns about what transpired.
Reverend Jerome Starling is a blood relative of Bell’s and is of the opinion that there should be some form of responsibility.
Starling stated that as soon as he saw him drinking something, he instantly felt there was something wrong with the situation.
He also mentioned that his attorneys granted him the opportunity to consume it. And very instantly, he went down to the ground. He expressed his astonishment and asked how they could have let something like that go down.

The footage of the event was captured on camera by Bell’s cousin. She was unable to comprehend what it was that she was witnessing.
Call Of Investigation And Speculations
After being terrified that they might lose him, Bell’s family is now demanding explanations.
The Miami-Dade County Corrections Department and the Miami-Dade police department are looking into the incident at the moment.
As Bell is now stable there is some speculation as to why he did it. Some even wonder if there are other crimes he didn’t want to be brought to light.
