Anti-Dodgers Initiative and $1 Million Ad Campaign Announced by Catholic Group

Everyone is becoming aware of the social devastation caused by the radical left. They dislike people who sexualize their children or transform every public event into a ritual of politically conscious theater.

Bud Light is catching on, Target is catching on, and undoubtedly the Dodgers will soon follow suit.

Letter and Pride Night Invite

CatholicVote issued an open letter to the owner of the L.A. Dodgers, along with the CEO of the sports team, declaring an ad campaign worth $1 million to promote boycotting of the team.

At issue is the Dodgers’ repeated proposals to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to get a medal at the group’s “Pride Night” on June 16.

A few weeks ago, the team formally revealed the invitation.

When Catholic groups and others began drawing attention to the scope of the Sisters – transgender men masquerading as Catholic nuns and mimicking homosexual sex to deliberately mock the Church – the Dodgers disinvited the group.

This infuriated L.A. Pride, which subsequently withdrew from Pride Night.

All of which risked answering the age-old question: what if nobody attended Pride Night? Thus, the Dodgers gave in. They re-invited anti-Catholic bigots and profusely apologized.

Bound To Backfire

It was a smart move to attract homosexuals to Dodger Stadium on Pride Night, but it could backfire if the team cares about attracting regular fans throughout the rest of the season.

Brian, the president of CatholicVote, states that the organization has a $1 million budget for advertising to convince Catholics to steer clear of the team.

He is not alone in advocating a boycott. Robert Barron, a prominent Catholic bishop who most recently served as the archdiocese’s auxiliary bishop in Los Angeles, issued a Twitter appeal for a boycott.

I commend CatholicVote. Bishop Barron did well. Everyone willing to defend decency deserves praise. It remains to be seen what the L.A. Dodgers do next.
