Biden Permits Mailing of Hazardous Abortion Medicines to Pro-life States

The Biden presidency recently allowed the Postal Service permission to flout abortion prohibitions in all 50 states and distribute abortion medicines.

The Justice Department granted the legal analysis to the U.S. Postal Service and established postal services Tuesday, The Hill recently reported. Before, mifepristone could only be supplied by abortion clinics, doctors’ facilities, and hospitals with medical oversight.

The Legality

Per the report, Biden administration attorneys said it’s okay to deliver abortion medicines as long as the sender doesn’t know if somebody will use them unlawfully.

Christopher Schroeder, Director of the Office of Legal Counsel, said beneficiaries in every state could utilize these medications to cause an abortion without breaking state law.

Mailing medications to a particular region is inadequate evidence that the sender intends to use them illegally.

Schroeder maintained that delivering abortion medications to pro-life states is lawful because every state permits abortions when the mother’s life is in danger; others allow abortions in situations of rape, incest, and other restricted conditions.

If a state prevents pregnant women from using mifepristone or misoprostol to have an abortion, they can travel to a state where it is legal. Someone delivering lady medicine is unlikely to know where she’ll use them, Schroeder said; therefore, it’s legal.

According to the newspaper, the legal analysis applies to UPS and FedEx. Pro-life advocates condemned the Biden administration’s moves as hazardous and political, claiming more women and babies’ lives are at stake.

Dangers and Consequences

Chelsey Youman, a legal advisor for Human Coalition Action, said ideologues in this presidency prioritize abortion over women’s health and safety by expanding access to the abortion pill.

Opponents accuse the Biden presidency of neglecting safety concerns to promote the abortion business, which sponsored the president’s campaign.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, head of SBA Pro-Life America, claimed the Biden administration favors abortion revenues over women’s safety and unborn kids’ lives.

Abortion campaigners want every drugstore and post office to offer abortions.

One in 17 women requires hospitalization due to abortion medication hazards, contrary to what abortion supporters state. A Charlotte Lozier Institute study indicated abortion-related ER trips by women using abortion medication surged 500% between 2002 and 2015.

From 2000 to 2018, the FDA connected mifepristone to 26 women’s deaths and 4,000 severe problems. Under Obama, the FDA ceased mandating reporting of non-fatal mifepristone problems. They’re probably considerably higher.

Jeanne Mancini, head of the March for Life, said Biden’s policies are both dangerous and anti-science. This dangerous choice will hurt women, said Mancini. Chemical abortion without medical control goes against science and harms women’s health.

Mifepristone is used to terminate unborn fetuses up to 10 weeks of pregnancy, while some abortion providers use it later. It blocks progesterone, starving the unborn infant. Abortion clinics usually administer misoprostol to induce labor and evacuate the baby.

New studies indicate a significant spike in ambulance calls and complaints of coercion and abuse in England, which allowed mail-order abortion medicines two years ago.

Mail-order abortion medicines have resulted in late-term infants being delivered alive at home because their moms didn’t understand how far along they were.

Doctors and medical groups sued the Biden administration for expanding abortion medicines, alleging it circumvented safety reviews and placed lives in danger.
