Controversy Surges As Shocking Accusation Comes Out About Georgia Senate Candidate Herschel Walker

Herschel Walker is famous for his days in the NFL, but now he’s making a run for the Senate in his home state of Georgia. He’s facing off against Democrat Raphael Warnock and Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver.

It hasn’t been a smooth ride, to say the least. Walker had to acknowledge several children he’d never admitted to having before and has been accused of much more.

Whereas the latest accusation is throwing his whole candidacy into jeopardy as the fiercely pro-life candidate has been accused of pressuring an ex-girlfriend to get an abortion in 2009.

What Happened?

In 2009, Walker was dating a woman who has remained unidentified for her own safety. She became pregnant, after which she says Walker encouraged her to get an abortion.

Proof? She has the receipt from the clinic, a signed check from Walker, and a note from the football icon hoping she feels better soon. The authenticity of these documents has not been confirmed.

A friend of the lady said she did indeed get the abortion and confirmed Walker was the dad.

Earlier in 2009, Walker had another baby with a woman he was not married to; he didn’t want another with this lady, saying it wasn’t the “right time.”

The woman said she has revealed what happened because of Walker’s strong stance against abortion, which she feels is hypocritical, given his past actions.

Walker has made it crystal clear he considers abortion to be murder and that zero exceptions are valid, even if the mother’s life is in immediate danger.

Walker Denies All Claims

Walker’s lawyer said the allegations are entirely “false” and that it is a fabrication. He argued this is just about targeting “black conservatives” and accused the Daily Beast publication of being racist.

Walker himself said the story is entirely a lie and said he will be suing the Daily Beast for running the story.

Christian Walker, Herschel’s son, said his dad is “lying” and he and other relatives told Herschel not to run because of these past incidents.

The woman did give evidence that she dated Walker along with a card appearing to be from him and the check. She herself is a Democrat, however.

This race in Georgia is very important; if Walker loses it could cost the GOP control of the Senate. This is only the latest controversy for Walker, who’s also been accused of threatening his ex-wife with murder.

The Bottom Line

This is not looking good for Walker and the Senate race in Georgia. Let’s keep our eyes on what happens next and whether he actually will file a lawsuit against the Daily Beast.

As it stands right now, it remains to be seen whether Walker follows through. This article appeared in Mainstpress and has been published here with permission.
