Dems Will Blame A GOP Congress For Impending Inflation

Democrats are currently in control of the House of Representatives.

With the midterm elections in 2022 quickly approaching, liberals across the political and mainstream media spectrum are gearing up to blame Republicans for any future increases in inflation, should they lose the majority.

On Thursday, President Joe Biden started doing the groundwork for this new policy during an appearance in Los Angeles.

The Democratic president made the argument that inflation would worsen “if Republicans win” control of Congress next month. Biden made sure to do this while also seeking to drum up support for a recently approved infrastructure package.

However, the Congressional Budget Office report analyzing the effects of the Democrats’ incorrectly named “Inflation Reduction Act” showed otherwise.

Inflation for the year ending September was 8.2 percent, according to a recent study from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, while “core inflation, that factors out food and energy costs, increased to 6.6 percent, the worst mark since 1982.”

Common necessities such as groceries, petrol, and electricity have all seen price increases to unprecedented levels since President Biden assumed office in January of this year.

Yet, despite these catastrophic numbers, Biden and company have sought time and time again to minimize inflation’s impact on the American economy and the lives of ordinary people.

Let us not forget when he said inflation was “up just an inch, scarcely at all” in a “60 Minutes” interview last month. Of course, the president of the United States was lying through his teeth

What a Waste

Since taking office, President Joe Biden and a Congress controlled by Democrats have squandered trillions of dollars on left-wing pet projects that do little to serve the needs of the American people.

During the first months of the Biden presidency, Democrats enacted the $1.9 trillion “American Rescue Plan” and the approximately $740 billion “Inflation Reduction Act.”

Washington, D.C.’s corporate media and political elites have taken their inspiration from Biden’s message strategy and are predicting a worsening economy with a GOP-controlled Congress.

Recently, MSNBC host Chris Hayes stated he is “confident in forecasting” that “if Republicans win control of one or both chambers of Congress [this November], they will do everything in their power to harm the economy to help set them up to reclaim the White House in 2024.”

Ammar Moussa, the spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee, told the Washington Examiner that the GOP made it quite plain they intend to destroy Medicare and Social Security and raise the prices of prescription drugs for millions of Americans.

He argued that President Biden and the Democrats are working relentlessly to reduce prices for American families, but Republicans have repeatedly proved they will side with special forces to raise costs.

There is nothing more at stake in the elections this fall.
