Kamala Harris Slammed By Bill Maher

Things haven’t been going so well for Vice President Kamala Harris.

When she went to the border between South Korea and North Korea, the vice president mistakenly declared the United States has a partnership with North Korea. What she meant to say was our nation is allied with South Korea.

Not long after that, Harris declared the Biden administration’s relief for Hurricane Ian will be distributed in a manner that’s “equitable” and puts communities with predominantly people of color on a pedestal.

With all the issues the vice president is having, the notion that she should enter into retirement is now floating around, per Breitbart News.

The Latest From Maher on the Vice President

During Friday’s episode of his show, talk show host Bill Maher made it clear that Harris’ political career should very well be over. Maher said Biden ought to consider replacing Harris on the vice presidential slot, should he win the Democratic primary in 2024.

Despite saying that Harris is very “bright,” Maher opined that she’s not a very good politician and tends to be quite “off-putting” to a fair amount of people.

The talk show host then made it clear that the vice president has a decent amount of baggage that could be her undoing, were it to be put under a fair amount of scrutiny.

Before his segment ended, Maher warned the Democrat Party, as a whole, has been crippled by its allegiance to identity politics.

A Wild Card Election

Thus far, it remains to be seen whether or not Biden himself is even planning to run for office again. The president went from emphatically claiming that he’s going to pursue a second term in office to later declaring it’s too earlier to make a definitive choice.

Some Americans think Biden is gradually laying out a path for himself to announce he’s not going to run for office after all. There have been so many issues under his watch that any sort of reelection attempt would lead to him being slammed before the country.

If Biden doesn’t run, polls have shown that voters are largely supportive of Vice President Kamala Harris making a run for office at the head of the ticket.

Other Democratic contenders, should Biden step down after his current term, could end up being California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, or even Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

With the caliber of Democrats that may possibly run on the 2024 ticket, the likelihood of Republicans winning back the White House is very much alive.
