Republican Senator John Kennedy slammed President Biden on his open border policy, while accusing him of lying to Americans on the border issue.
Kennedy’s remarks come amid the heightened border tensions, which have raised political temperatures in the United States.
Biden Telling White Lies to Americans
Speaking on Fox News program “The Faulkner Focus” on Tuesday, Senator Kennedy stated Biden opened the southern border completely, but still, he is lying to Americans.
Even though Biden claims to champion democracy, he is undermining all the democratic ethos in the United States by keeping the borders open.
Everyone needs to respect the laws, norms, and institutions in democracy, but the open border policy of the Biden administration is disrespecting all the institutions of America and hence democracy, Kennedy added.
Democracy depends on everyone accepting rules and norms.

Despite surging illegal immigration, Biden is telling people the US borders are closed.
Recently, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy no one walks into America from the border, even though illegal immigrant encounters have crossed a whopping two million during this fiscal year.
According to Kennedy, Biden is treating Americans like “morons,” so people want the president to change his policies. No American wants the president to call them racists and Nazis, but Biden is still undermining his own citizens while praising illegals, Kennedy argued.
As per Kennedy, nearly all Americans lock their front door at night, but not because they hate people outside their houses. Instead, they love people inside their houses, which encourages them to lock their doors.
So, the Biden administration should also lock the southern border, not due to hatred of immigrants, but for the love of Americans.
Biden’s open border isn’t just a crisis for American communities.
It’s a humanitarian threat to the vulnerable people who get trafficked, robbed, attacked, and abused because this admin encourages them to cross it illegally.

Border Horrors Continue
Faulkner recently visited the southern border herself; so she recalled the prevailing horrors of Biden’s open border policy. She suggested CBP and border agents are doing exceptional work to curb the uncontrolled influx of migrants.
Newly released governmental data suggests border authorities have tackled more than two million encounters in the ongoing fiscal year, the largest number ever recorded in any single year.
This unprecedented rise in illegal immigration has burdened border states, especially Texas and Arizona, whose governors have transported thousands of illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is also inspired by this policy of Texas and Arizona. He started sending illegal immigrants to blue cities to highlight the migration issue at the national level.
While DeSantis already sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, he is reportedly sending another plane to Biden’s home state of Delaware.
Until now, DeSantis refused to acknowledge or deny the reports his administration would send illegal immigrants to Biden’s home state.
Meanwhile, migrants are facing unprecedented misery after reaching the United States. New York City Mayor Eric Adams confirmed a migrant mother committed suicide in an NYC homeless shelter on Sunday.
