Texas Dems Want Biden’s DOJ To Meddle In Midterms

President Biden’s immigration policies resulted in monthly peaks of unauthorized immigrants entering our southern frontier and being transferred to communities around the country.

About 2.2 million individuals have taken advantage of Biden’s reluctance to implement immigration legislation. At this rate, the country will see nearly five million additional undocumented immigrants by the day Biden steps down.

Still Prices and Inflation

Notwithstanding the uncontrolled border, most people say inflation is their top issue. Since Biden assumed office, a loaf of bread has risen 13%, which isn’t as awful as other needs.

Northeast thermal oil prices have more than doubled, from $2.57 a gallon to $5.73. A 200-gallon fill went from $514 to over $1,146. Many people had to pay their debts with credit card payments, which now have higher interest rates.

In California, as Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom cites oil industry conspiracy, not his coalition’s anti-American energy policy, high gas prices are $5.82 per gallon, up $1.30 or 29% from a year ago.

Democrats are terrified and trying everything to prevent a red election wave.

In Texas, the Biden Justice Department may intervene directly in the polls of Harris County, home to America’s fourth-largest municipality, Houston. Local Democrats asked the DOJ to watch the November elections.

A Rundown

Due to Harris County’s sloppy election administration, Texas’ secretary of state declared in September it would conduct a “complete forensic examination of the 2020 election in four Texas counties.”

Harris County messed up the line of custody for 14 voting stations and their electronic ballot boxes in the 2020 election, which was marred by lawbreaking over COVID-19. 184,999 votes are involved.

We should not blame malice for government inefficiency. Harris County’s election supervisor was so incompetent she resigned after violations in the March 1, 2022 primary.

The Texas Secretary of State and Attorney General’s office said on October 18 they would deploy auditors, security instructors, and legal experts to Harris County to guarantee a fair election.

In a message to the Biden DOJ sent Oct. 20, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner with Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo said Texas’ decision to send election monitors is an attempt to “disrupt and coerce local election officials.”

They believe the state wants to “chill voter confidence in the election process.”

GOP state Sen. Paul Bettencourt, who serves Harris County, is worried about the county’s election management competency.

In a letter dated Oct. 24, the new Harris County elections superintendent guaranteed the Texas Secretary of State’s Office that previous election process failings had been acknowledged.

Texas Republicans should keep statewide offices. They look cutthroat in South Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, where Hispanics dislike the Democrats’ leftward rally.

In Harris County, Democratic incumbent Hidalgo has solid GOP opposition in Alexandra del Moral Mealer.

Mealer, a retired U.S. Army captain, and Afghanistan combat vet, has been critical of Hidalgo’s crime log because Harris County has seen a sharp rise in homicides and assaults since his election.

Harris County is an attractive target for Biden’s highly partisan federal police activity.
