House Democrats are giving campaign money to their family members, who are running election campaigning businesses.
Politicians gather campaign money mostly from donations, which means Democratic lawmakers are taking the money out of Americans’ pockets and giving that money to enrich their family members.
While giving election contracts to family members is not a violation of the federal code of conduct, this is usually considered an unethical practice.
Dems Grabbing Americans’ Hard-Earned Money
Maxine Waters, the chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, is running for reelection from California’s 43rd District.
Waters’ campaign paid $16,000 to her daughter, Karen Waters, in multiple installments from July to September.
If every state passed election integrity laws Democrats would never win another election! Period!!!
I know they all collect donations and launder the money through family member, but have you ever seen Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters…. campaign for office?????? pic.twitter.com/JTghesDw7t

Karen Waters has received almost $1.2 million from her mother’s reelection campaign in the last 20 years. She also runs an election campaign firm, Progressive Connections, which is running slate-mailing operations for Rep. Waters.
Slate-mailing firms send campaign publications to voters. The publications may contain vote-casting procedures, a list of candidates on the ballot, and endorsements by the campaign.
However, slate-mailing is an outdated practice that is uncommon in modern-day elections.
Reportedly, Waters was the only congressional candidate who used slate-mailing service for the 2020 election campaign, which means that she gave her campaign money to her daughter for the sake of it.
Though Karen was not the only person in Waters’ family who got the campaign money of the Congresswoman. Back in 2004, media outlets reported that Waters’ campaign flooded almost $1 million towards her multiple family members within an eight-year period.
Wow if you are a member of Congress apparently you can enrich your family by funneling campaign cash to them. Democrat Clyburn-5 members received $200K. Maxine Waters $1.2M! And Omar gave $3.2M of campaign donations to her husband’s firm! These people stink.

Even Top House Dems Are Busy Enriching Their Families
Likewise, House Majority Whip James Clyburn has also paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to his family members. In the current election cycle, Clyburn’s campaign paid $7,500 in office rent to Walter A. Reed, who is the son-in-law of Clyburn.
Walter A. Reed is the co-owner of 49 Magnolia Blossom LLC, an investment company to which Clyburn campaign has paid almost $80,000 since 2020.
In addition to that, Clyburn’s grandson, Walter A.C Reed, is leading his reelection campaign, for which he has charged $17,500 to Clyburn’s campaign in the last four months.
Since last October, Walter A.C Reed has received more than $75,000 from his father-in-law’s reelection campaign for various perks and services.
Furthermore, Clyburn even took it upon himself to pay out almost $20,000 to his other daughter, Angela Hannibal, in exchange for receiving the services of voter outreach, truck rentals, and catering.
Apart from Angela, her husband Cecil has likewise amassed nearly $70,000 from the reelection campaign of his father-in-law for community outreach services.
Although giving election campaign contracts to family members is legal, the practice is usually considered unethical by election experts. Media outlets tried to reach Clyburn and Waters’ campaigns in order to find out more, but they did not respond.
