On a tape, a biological man (who later transitioned into a transgender female and was convicted of sexually assaulting a kid in California) can be heard chuckling at the lenient sentence.
When Hannah Tubbs, 26, announced her decision to plead guilty by phone, she explained she would be placed into a probation period and the case would be dropped.
She explained, “I won’t have to register. I won’t have to do anything.” As Tubbs’s father looked on, the molester laughed, telling him the court system would “do nothing.”

Heinous Crime, Groping a 10-Year-Old Girl
“Do you think you won’t have to register?” Tubbs is the one who is being questioned. “I’m not going to be required to do any of that,” Tubbs answered.
According to a source, Tubbs was reportedly captured making disparaging remarks about the victim that were “unfit for publication.”
Tubbs was taken into custody on suspicion of assaulting a 10-year-old in a restroom at a restaurant. According to reports, the molester held the girl by the throat and started to sexually assault her until someone came in and interrupted the crime.
According to investigators, James Tubbs started identifying as a woman called Hannah Tubbs after being apprehended nearly eight years since the crime was committed.
A Slap on the Wrist
Tubbs was just a few years shy of his 18th birthday when the sexual attack on a kid occurred.
According to reports, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon refused to transfer juvenile criminals to adult court. As a result, Tubbs received what amounts to a slap on the wrist from the system.

As a result of the decision, Tubbs was sentenced to two years in a juvenile facility; he will not be compelled to register as a sex offender.
In a statement, LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger termed the hearings “unsatisfactory,” noting “Judge Barrera’s hands were restricted today, due in part to the fact the District Attorney’s office failed to file a petition to move Tubbs to adult criminal court, where she belongs.”
The result is a 26-year-old man being condemned to two years in a juvenile detention center where he will be separated from the minors, both visually and audibly.
The victim of Tubbs expressed her displeasure with the outcome. She said in an interview with Fox News it was “beyond horrific” for a 10-year-old child to have to go through what she did as a result of what he did to her.
“For the atrocities he perpetrated against me, I want him tried as an adult, not as a juvenile,” she added.
It is truly disheartening to see someone get away with such disgusting acts; it is becoming more difficult to trust in a judicial system that would let someone like “Hannah” Tubbs, who assaulted a kid, walk practically unpunished.
Would his victim ever find closure?
