Former President Trump has always spoken his mind, no matter who it offends.
That’s part of what got him kicked off of Twitter and other social networks, as liberal Big Tech billionaires came together and decided to digitally exclude him.
Now, Trump has his own network called Truth Social; he’s been using it to sound off about his political enemies and those he dislikes.
His latest target is Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a long-time Trump opponent who represents more of the old, pre-Trump GOP.
Trump Savagely Insults McConnell and His Wife
As Senate Minority Leader, McConnell still has an important role in government and in the GOP. He’s a Republican insider who’s been in Congress for decades. He is friends with Joe Biden and many across the aisle.
Most recently, McConnell signed onto a deal to keep the government funded throughout the month of December, which displeased Trump.
Taking to Truth Social, Trump said McConnell is plagued by a “DEATH WISH” and his “China-loving wife” Elaine Chao should be giving him better advice. China also referred to Chao as “Coco Chow.”
Many liberals and anti-Trump conservatives took to Twitter and other social networks to accuse Trump of racism for the Coco Chow comment and said those who support Trump are racist.
Others commented the nickname is funny. Chao was Transportation Secretary under Trump and is from Taiwan; although it’s true her family has a shipping business with connections to Communist China.
Waiting to see how/if @LeaderMcConnell responds to Trump's racist rant calling his (McConnell's) "China loving wife, Coco Chow."

The Trump-McConnell Feud
The real issue between Trump and McConnell is extremely simple: there can only be one person at the top. Trump obviously sees McConnell as unworthy of holding power and influence in the GOP.
Trump has repeatedly demanded McConnell step down as leader of the GOP in the Senate. He did not get along well with McConnell numerous times during his presidency.
This reached an apex when McConnell blamed Trump for the January 6 riots. Despite voting not to convict him in the impeachment trial, McConnell said Trump was indeed morally responsible.
McConnell also worked to get anti-Trump, establishment Republicans to run against Trump in various races for the Senate, but so far has not had success.
Chao herself quit her job heading transportation on January 6, saying the riots at the US Capitol “troubled” her in a very intense way she couldn’t look past.
Former aides of McConnell have called Trump’s post “deranged” and others have said the post is a low-key death threat to McConnell.
honestly calling her coco chow is fucking hilarious sorry pic.twitter.com/Ig0B11vbbe

The Bottom Line
The feud between Trump and McConnell is not likely to end anytime soon. It remains to be seen how this plays out.
Do you consider Trump’s post racist? What should be the future of Mitch McConnell in the Republican Party?
