The White House recurrently boasted about trying to exploit its connections with social media corporations to spread disinformation the Biden presidency deems troublesome.
The attorney generals in Missouri and Louisiana filed a motion this week, demanding a court halt Big Tech businesses from collaborating with the federal government to notify them of their political censorship binges.
Suppression
In the motion, the Attorney General of Missouri, Eric Schmitt and the Attorney General of Louisiana, Jeff Landry argued that the Biden presidency, in partnership with Meta, Twitter, Google’s YouTube, and other giants from Silicon Valley, has taken advantage of Big Tech’s handle on the market.
This handle on the market is for social media platforms to suppress any speech that is in opposition to the narrative they have chosen.

“The freedom to speak one’s mind is the fundamental foundation of this wonderful nation, and it must be protected and maintained,” Schmitt said.
This was in a remark that citizens of Missouri and the rest of the United States should be terrified by allegations that the federal government attempted to conspire with social media corporations to stifle free speech.
“The federal government must be prevented from quieting the voices of any citizens of the United States; the purpose of this motion for preliminary injunction is to achieve that goal.”
People from scientists and doctors to the owner of a conservative radio program and to everyday Americans who aspire to express their opinion in the public sphere have been silenced.
This is a result of a decision that was inspired by the federal government to “de-platform, shadow-ban, de-boost, de-monetize, regulate content access, and suspend numerous speakers, both momentarily and permanently.
Restrictions
According to comments made by the attorney generals for the state, the censorship of the Great Barrington Declaration writers, who were critical of bureaucrats calling for constant national lockdowns, occurred at the peak of the Biden administration’s panic over COVID-19.
Big Tech was responsible for this action.
Soon after, emails were exchanged between the then-director of the Institutes of Health, Dr. Francis Collins, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the National Academy of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, demanding a “quick and catastrophic takedown” of the group’s criticism.
Writers such as Dr. Martin Kulldorff and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya were subjected to “extensive social media restrictions on multiple platforms.” This occurred shortly after the emails were sent.

The state attorney generals filed a complaint against the administration of President Biden and other federal authorities last month.
These complaints are accusing the President and other officials of participating in “open and explicit censorship initiatives,” such as the “Disinformation Governance Board” of the Department of Homeland Security.
According to the original petition, senior officials in the executive branch decided to move into a process of open collaboration with social media businesses to repress unfavored speakers, outlooks, and content on social platforms.
This is happening under the Orwellian guise of stopping so-called “disinformation” and “misinformation.” Having confronted and coaxed social media for years to suppress views and speakers socially stigmatized by the left, social platforms finally gave in.
